Precision Labs is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager – Mechanical in Seattle to lead sourcing strategies for critical aerospace components, including airframe structures and propulsion hardware. You will identify suppliers, negotiate terms, and drive long-term agreements to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or supply chain management in aerospace/defense.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience leading complex sourcing efforts and independently managing critical suppliers or major aircraft systems.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements balancing cost, quality, delivery and risk.
• Experience with supplier qualification, onboarding, and long-term agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for mechanical commodities including airframes, machining, landing gear, and propulsion hardware.
• Develop commodity strategies supporting prototype, development, qualification, and production.
• Own supplier selection, onboarding, and long-term management for critical components.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities across manufacturing, capacity, and quality systems.
• Lead competitive sourcing activities: RFQs, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and long-term agreements to reduce cost and risk.
