Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced procurement professional to source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for high‑complexity aerospace/defense programs. You will analyze data to set price objectives and monitor supplier performance, while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and ethical procurement practices.

The role requires a track record in strategic supplier management, cross‑functional leadership, and the ability to secure best‑value agreements within schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• ≥3 years subcontract or procurement experience on high‑complexity aerospace/defense programs; ≥2 years leading cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical ability: cost/technical proposal analysis and bid package preparation.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to draft precise specifications and contract terms.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, aerospace/defense regulations and ethical procurement practices.
• Active U.S. Government Secret (or higher) clearance.
• Manage multiple strategic, critical and tactical supplier relationships to meet schedules and costs.
• Excellent communication to manage stakeholder expectations at various levels.
• Identify and mitigate risks with effective mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement in procurement procedures and processes.
• Independent problem solving under general direction.

Responsibilities

• Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies necessary for operation.
• Compiles and analyzes data to determine feasibility of buying products and establish price objectives.
• Monitors supplier performance and analyzes price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes supplier operations to determine price factors and lowest cost with quality and reliability.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, and maintains records.
• Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
