Job summary

Applied Composites is seeking a Senior Operations Financial Analyst in Brea, CA to partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and program leadership. You will provide financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support focused on manufacturing operations, inventory, and working capital.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial analysis and manufacturing finance, with strong cost accounting, ERP experience (Epicor), and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis and manufacturing finance.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting.
• Experience with aerospace or complex manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent Excel skills; ability to build financial models and dashboards.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to evaluate financial and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and reports.
• Analyze labor, material, overhead, scrap, and other production costs.
• Monitor performance against budget and forecast; provide variance analysis.
• Support make-vs-buy, capacity planning, and scheduling decisions.
• Develop KPIs to measure efficiency, cost, and profitability.
