Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance or cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Experience with POC accounting and government accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement in financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and report manufacturing costs and operational performance, identifying variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze inventory valuation and support control and optimize stock levels.
• Provide insights on cost trends, operational drivers, and potential financial impacts.
• Prepare month-end close entries and analysis related to manufacturing operations.
• Contribute to financial statement accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
• Partner with operations and management to identify cost-control and profitability initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve financial controls and reporting.
• Support internal and external audits with required records and analysis.
