Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage purchasing, supplier performance, and cost control for critical manufacturing operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain the Approved Supplier List, and drive cost-effective sourcing across ITAR-restricted programs.

The role involves coordinating with Quality, Operations, Engineering, Planning, and Finance to resolve supplier and material issues, while supporting audits and cost proposals for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Operations preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate direction and training both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executes purchase orders and ensures appropriate quality, technical, regulatory, customer, and record-retention requirements are flowed down to suppliers.
• Monitors material inventory, demand, lead times, and supplier commitments to maintain continuity of supply and mitigate shortages.
• Monitors supplier performance KPIs, including quality and on-time delivery, and initiates corrective actions and escalations as required.
• Maintains purchasing and supplier-control processes in accordance with AS9100 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Supports audits and maintains the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Identifies and develops new and alternate sources of supply to improve capacity and reduce single-source risk.
