Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) is seeking a skilled procurement professional to ensure reliable, compliant material supply for plant operations. You will purchase orders, manage supplier performance, and maintain the Approved Supplier List, while supporting audits and cost proposals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in purchasing in manufacturing, strong data skills, and proficiency with ERP systems such as Baan. ITAR considerations apply for certain roles, requiring U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience with supplier qualification and cost analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supplier performance metrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders and ensure quality, regulatory, and record-retention requirements.
• Monitor inventory, demand, lead times, and supplier commitments.
• Track supplier performance KPIs and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain purchasing processes aligned with AS9100/ISO 13485 requirements and customer needs.
• Support audits and maintain supplier records.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers and manage the Approved Supplier List.
