Job summary

Janicki Industries, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Manager to act as the contracts lead for designated aerospace and defense programs. You will guide lifecycle activities from proposal through closeout, shape negotiation positions, and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The role requires deep knowledge of U.S. Government contracting, strong commercial judgment, and collaboration with program management, finance, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive contracts experience, including U.S. Government contracting.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting practices.
• Experience in contract review, negotiation, and administration through closeout.
• Ability to interpret complex contract language and advise teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract activities across the full lifecycle from solicitation review to closeout.
• Develop contracting strategies aligning with program execution and financial goals.
• Interpret terms and ensure compliant execution under FAR/DFARS and regulations.
• Identify risks, communicate issues, and escalate to leadership when needed.
• Collaborate across functions to support performance and resolve disputes.
• Mentor contract personnel and maintain auditable contract records.
