Job summary

Gogo is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead purchasing activities that ensure timely delivery of materials for production and new product introductions. You will collaborate across Engineering, Production, Quality, and suppliers to manage supplier performance and material readiness, enabling smooth launches and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and procurement activities.
• Advanced Excel and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance to meet quality, delivery, cost and objectives.
• Lead sourcing activities by issuing RFQs, negotiating pricing and terms, and placing purchase orders.
• Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality and suppliers to ensure materials and documentation meet schedules.
• Manage material readiness for new product introductions and production transitions.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding for AVL suppliers.
• Create and maintain clear-to-build reports, identify shortages and escalation risks.
• Manage ECO implementation across purchase orders and supplier commitments.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and supplier performance.
• Contribute to supply chain initiatives and related projects.
