Job summary

Gogo Inc. is seeking a Senior Buyer in Colorado to lead supplier relationships and procurement activities for production and new product introductions.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and suppliers to ensure material readiness and on-time delivery, while driving cost and process improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5–7 years of purchasing/procurement/supply chain experience in electronics, aviation, aerospace, defense, or related manufacturing.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and procurement activities.
• Experience with revision-controlled parts and product lifecycle management in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, ECOs, and change implementations.
• Advanced Excel skills and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance to meet quality, delivery, cost, and operations goals.
• Lead sourcing by issuing RFQs, negotiating pricing, and placing purchase orders to support business needs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and suppliers to ensure materials/documentation meet project and production schedules.
• Oversee material readiness for new product introductions and smooth production transitions.
• Manage vendor onboarding for AVL suppliers and maintain clear-to-build reporting.
• Identify shortages and escalation risks, monitor supplier deliveries, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in purchasing processes, supplier performance, and overall efficiency.
