• Associate's degree or equivalent professional purchasing experience may be substituted.
• Understanding of purchasing concepts, FAR and related government regulations and their practical application.
• Customer focused with the ability to provide solutions to purchasing problems, communicate clearly, and lead or influence others.
• Ability to organize, schedule and coordinate multiple work phases; strong computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Purchases parts, materials, equipment, goods, and services to support contracts or internal organization.
• Review quotations and proposals; conduct intermediate procurement negotiations.
• Validate requisitions; select or recommend suppliers; solicit bids; analyze responses; negotiate terms and prices.
• Monitor delivery; maintain records; assess supplier cost, quality, reliability and schedule adherence.
• Interact with project personnel, internal customers, and suppliers; may interface with program management and customer representatives.
