Job summary

Pacific Council on International Policy seeks an Advancement Manager to support fundraising, sustaining membership, and organizational priorities. You will partner with the CEO and senior leadership to cultivate donors, members, institutional funders, and other stakeholders.

The role covers prospect research, donor strategy, executive briefing prep, sustaining member billing, CRM management, and development operations. Hybrid work includes in-person meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years nonprofit advancement, development operations, or executive support experience.
• Strong understanding of fundraising lifecycle, moves management, and donor cultivation.
• Familiarity with sustaining member or recurring donor programs and funding cycles.
• Ability to translate conversations into actionable next steps for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-level research to identify prospective major donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other funding opportunities.
• Prepare briefing materials for CEO meetings, synthesizing research and relationship context.
• Apply fundraising strategy to identify cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship opportunities.
• Manage CEO donor engagement logistics and coordinate timely next steps and proposals.
• Provide development strategy and operational support across campaigns, partnerships, and events.
