Job summary

Paideia School in Atlanta seeks a Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management to lead a comprehensive admissions program for a K-12 independent school of over 1,000 students. This senior leader will guide strategy, supervise staff, and serve as a strong ambassador for the school community.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Head of School and other leaders, a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, and ongoing data-driven enrollment planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in independent school admissions and enrollment management.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, managerial and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage busy periods of touring, interviewing, reading applications and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions and enrollment operations and develop an enrollment plan with goals.
• Provide leadership in enrollment management including marketing, financial aid, and attracting/enrolling/retaining students and families.
• Collaborate with the Head of School and senior administrators.
• Lead the admissions committee process at all levels of the school.
• Advance DEI work in admissions with emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
• Hire, train, and supervise the admissions team and supervisor.
• Organize schedules and work of admissions staff.
• Participate in school-wide committees related to enrollment and communications.
• Report admissions results and enrollment trends to Head of School and Board.
• Cultivate relationships with public, charter, and independent schools.
• Monitor demographic trends locally, state and nationally.
• Serve as a positive ambassador of The Paideia School.
