Job summary

HMG Healthcare LLC is seeking an Admissions Director for Lone Star Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Stephenville, TX. This role oversees the entire admissions workflow, ensuring a compassionate, efficient experience for prospective residents and families.

You will collaborate with clinical, marketing, and administrative teams to optimize referrals, assess eligibility, and facilitate smooth transitions into care within a compliant framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field is preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of admissions or patient placement experience in healthcare or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and healthcare regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process from inquiry to resident placement with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to assess needs and eligibility for placement and care planning.
• Monitor occupancy levels and implement strategies to meet or exceed goals while ensuring compliance.
• Train, supervise, and support admissions staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Prepare and analyze admissions reports, metrics, and forecasts for leadership.
