Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or related field; preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in admissions or patient placement within healthcare or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Experience working in a nursing home, rehabilitation, or long-term care facility.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and admissions software systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process from initial inquiry through resident placement with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to assess patient needs and eligibility for placement and care planning.
• Monitor occupancy levels and implement strategies to achieve occupancy goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Train, supervise, and support admissions staff to maintain high service standards.
• Prepare and analyze admissions reports, metrics, and forecasts for leadership guidance.
• Ensure all admissions activities comply with federal, state, local regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in community outreach with the marketing team.
