Job summary

MassMutual is seeking an Actuary to join its Pension Risk Transfer team, applying pricing expertise to complex pension transactions in US and UK markets. You’ll support pricing, analysis, and underwriting of transactions, and contribute to proposal development, product enhancements, and contract reviews.

You’ll collaborate with actuarial, investments, valuation, and business development teams to shape pricing decisions, develop proposals, and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of actuarial, quantitative, or financial analysis experience, including pricing, valuation, modeling, or risk analysis.
• ASA Designation.

Responsibilities

• Price US Pension Risk Transfer and UK longevity reinsurance opportunities.
• Support pricing, analysis, and underwriting of transactions.
• Contribute to proposals, product enhancements, and contract reviews.
• Collaborate with pricing, product, and corporate teams on approvals and assumptions.
