Job summary

Examinetics Inc in Overland Park, KS, is seeking a Senior Accountant - Acquisitions Integration to lead the accounting integration of newly acquired companies from closing through transition into our systems. You will document and learn target company books, perform close activities during the transition, and align processes with our finance team.

This role collaborates with Finance, IT, Payroll, AP/AR, and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting, ownership of opening balance sheets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience including G/L and month-end close.
• Experience with acquisition accounting and multi-entity consolidations preferred.
• Experience with external auditors and ERP systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting workstream for acquisitions from pre-close to post-close.
• Learn and document acquired books and migrate data to company systems.
• Coordinate month-end close for acquisitions during transition.
• Prepare opening balance sheet and related closing statements.
• Support purchase accounting, including fair value allocations and earnouts.
