Job summary

Examinetics Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant - Acquisitions Integration in Overland Park, KS. This role leads the accounting integration for newly acquired companies, from closing to full transition into the company’s systems and processes.

You will collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, Payroll, AP/AR, and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely financial information throughout each integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger and month-end close.
• Experience with acquisition accounting and M&A integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting workstream for acquisitions from pre-close to post-close transition.
• Document acquired company accounting systems and maintain books during integration.
• Perform month-end close for acquisitions during transition including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare acquisition-date opening balance sheet and closing statements.
• Coordinate post-closing adjustments such as earnouts and deferred consideration.
• Support purchase accounting including goodw ill and intangibles with advisors and auditors.
• Map COA and data to company structure and lead data migration.
