Strategic Accounts Manager, Single Family Builders

As a Strategic Accounts Manager, Single Family Builders for our Therma-Tru, Larson, and Fypon brands, you will drive growth and profit by managing all interfaces with our key accounts in the National Builders segment.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing national accounts in building materials, developing business strategies, building relationships with builder accounts, and creating professional high-quality PowerPoint presentations.

Location: This position is remote, within the Eastern half of the United States, preferably near a major airport.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage national builder accounts in the eastern US.
  • Implement and communicate account strategies internally and externally.
  • Coordinate with other account managers and sales teams to ensure strategy execution.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop pricing and programs to grow profitability.
  • Maximize growth and profitability of the national builder program.
  • Lead contract negotiations with national builder accounts, involving legal, marketing, and senior management support.
  • Develop and communicate account plans for each key customer.
  • Represent our brands at regional and national builder associations and conferences.
  • Engage in challenging conversations with customers regarding pricing and program requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years managing national accounts in building products.
  • Understanding of market forces affecting builders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in account management and planning.
  • Knowledge of generating and negotiating pull-thru programs and managing builder relationships.
  • Proven sales growth and results-driven track record.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM systems like HubSpot.

The estimated base salary range is $105,000 - $125,000 USD, with potential bonuses or sales incentives based on performance.
