Strategic Accounts Manager, Single Family Builders

As a Strategic Accounts Manager, Single Family Builders for our Therma-Tru, Larson, and Fypon brands, you will drive growth and profit through managing interfaces with key accounts of our National Builders.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing national accounts in building materials, developing business strategies, building relationships with builder accounts, and creating professional high-quality PowerPoint presentations.

Location: This role is eligible for remote work. Candidates must live within the Eastern half of the United States, ideally near a major airport.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel availability required.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage national builder accounts in the eastern U.S.
  2. Implement and communicate account strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Coordinate with other account managers and sales teams to execute strategies at national and local levels.
  4. Collaborate with leadership to develop pricing and programs to grow profitability.
  5. Maximize growth and profitability of the National Builder Program.
  6. Lead contract negotiations with national builder accounts, involving legal, marketing, and senior management support.
  7. Develop and communicate account plans for each key customer.
  8. Represent our brands at industry associations and conferences.
  9. Engage in challenging conversations with customers regarding pricing and program requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years managing national accounts in building products.
  • Knowledge of market forces affecting builders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in account management and strategic planning.
  • Ability to generate and negotiate pull-thru programs and manage builder relationships.
  • Proven record of sales growth and results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot.

Salary range: $105,000 - $125,000 USD, with potential bonuses and incentives. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, 401(k), product discounts, flexible time off, inclusive benefits, and employee resource groups.
