Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Manager of Strategic Accounts to support Shockwave Medical Inc. You must reside in one of the selected locations and relocation is not offered.

The role focuses on developing strategically aligned relationships with hospital and IDN accounts, driving access and adoption of Shockwave Medical’s IVL technology. The Manager will lead cross-functional teams, navigate contracting and VAC processes, and deliver insights to strengthen market access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in medical devices.
• Experience in catheter technology and vascular interventions preferred.
• Knowledge of VAC process and contracting.
• Strong influencing and decision‑making skills.
• Able to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hospital-level stakeholders.
• Drive strategy from IDN level to hospital/account level.
• Advance innovative solutions and partnerships within targeted accounts.
• Collaborate with sales leaders to increase opportunities and closures.
• Navigate VAC approval process and influence VAC members.
• Anticipate customer needs and competitive threats.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on overall strategy and tactics.
• Manage multiple priorities to advance business goals.
• Identify and foster strategic partnerships in the cardiovascular interventional space.
• Measure KOL engagement impact and convey results to cross‑functional teams.
• Articulate the full value proposition (clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing).
