Job summary

Coframe, based in the San Francisco area, is seeking an Accounting Manager to own core accounting workstreams as the company scales. You will manage month-end close, payroll, AP/AR, billing, and audits, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

You will collaborate with leadership to assemble monthly reports and contribute to finance practices, including tax filings and regulatory registrations. In a fast-paced startup, adaptability and process rigor are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of relevant accounting experience, public accounting and industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Own key areas of the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, and deliver financial statements under US GAAP.
• Manage AP, AR, billing (subscriptions), GL, and payroll with accuracy and timeliness.
• Own billing, invoicing, and collections for enterprise customers.
• Support audits, tax filings, and other audits by preparing schedules and documents.
• Manage spend and AP, vendor onboarding, and expense management.
• Maintain payroll accuracy, track equity in Carta, and support stock-based compensation related to board approvals and 409A valuations.
• Produce monthly reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and support board materials and fundraising diligence.
