The role focuses on monthly close, journal entry reviews, policy guidance, and cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes and strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in accounting, with focus on financial reporting and business partnering.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Partner with NA Senior Finance Leader & GFS Controller on monthly close and journal entry review.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual general accounting processes not centralized in GFS.
• Provide guidance on Corporate Policies & Procedures and answer accounting questions.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements with other functions.
• Support statutory/regulatory filings and liaise with auditors and Tax.
• Assist month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve financial systems.
• Provide training to non-finance staff on CP&Ps and standard methodologies.
• Coach junior accounting staff.
