Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Accounting & Operations Manager to join their client’s team in Nevada. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience with SAGE software.

The ideal candidate will manage financial and operational aspects, ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, handle payroll, AP/AR, W‑2/1099 reporting, and oversee 401(k) plans and insurance renewals.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in financial reporting/general ledger with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience processing payroll for 100-200 employees preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state compensation laws and administrative standards.
• Knowledge of 401(k) and profit-sharing plan administration.
• Extensive experience with the SAGE100 accounting system is required.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ten-key touch experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand financial reporting, general ledger structure, and accounting principles; SAGE experience required.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processing.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting and bank-related tasks.
• Process quarterly payroll tax returns and year-end filings.
• Manage 401(k) and profit-sharing plan administration.
• Oversee license renewals and audits as needed.
• Supervise AP & PR staff and collaborate with other departments.
