Job summary

Spectrum Medical Care Center is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and the financial management of both Spectrum and PrideCare Rx. This hands-on role partners with clinical, pharmacy, revenue cycle, HR, and operations to drive clean books and scalable processes.

You will oversee GL, AP, AR, and payroll accounting, manage intercompany activity, and support audits, grant reporting, and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with modern ERP systems and Excel for data analysis.
• Ability to prepare and explain financial statements to leadership and non-finance partners.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close calendar and ensure timely completion.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals; verify balance sheet supports.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budget-to-actual reporting for leadership.
• Support annual budget process, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Explain variances to non-finance partners in clear language.
