The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting and experience in public accounting or a large regional firm; CPA or CPA candidacy is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Public accounting experience (Big4 or large regional firm).
• CPA or CPA candidacy desired.
• In-depth understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and accounting policies.
• Perform detailed reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reviews.
• Ensure monthly close is timely and all reconciliations are completed accurately.
• Ensure capital expenditure reporting is accurate and timely.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close reporting including footnotes.
• Manage process improvement initiatives and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
• Assist with system design and implementations when appropriate.
• Take on other projects as assigned.
