Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Director of Accounting, Transitions & New Development to lead accounting transition activities for hotel openings, acquisitions, and renovations from its The Woodlands, TX office. You will coordinate with CAO, Treasury, and property teams to ensure USALI and GAAP compliance, data mapping, and timely closings.

Strong project management and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to travel for on-site training and transition support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum five to seven years of accounting/finance/transition experience preferred.
Strong understanding of USALI and GAAP; experience with hotel accounting transitions.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key transition leader for hotel transitions and new development projects.
Identify property setup requirements across accounting functions to ensure timely transition.
Coordinate bank accounts and merchant IDs with PGH Treasury.
Map historical financials into Pyramid systems and chart of accounts.
Lead income journal mapping to align with USALI and GAAP.
Deliver post-transition training and handoffs to regional finance leaders.
