DLC, an Addison Group Company, is expanding its Chicago-based team with full-time Finance and Accounting consultants.

These roles support diverse interim and project-based needs across industries; the team collaborates with finance and operating executives on high-impact initiatives and reporting challenges.

Ideal candidates have strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and the ability to drive process improvements in a busy consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting focus.
• 2+ years of Big 4 or top public accounting firm experience preferred.
• 4+ years of corporate general ledger experience and solid GAAP/FP&A knowledge.
• CPA certification or MBA desired.
• SOX internal control experience and documentation preferred.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage individuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, month-end close optimization, consolidated financial statements, and reporting packages.
• Prepare SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-3, S-4) and implement new FASB pronouncements.
• Lead post-merger integrations and coordinate audits; develop internal controls.
• Develop operating plans, forecasts, and multi-year strategic plans; perform financial modeling and profitability analyses.
• Lead financial system implementations, ERP reporting, and process improvements.
• Document current-state processes and ensure regulatory compliance; provide interim finance leadership when needed.
• Lead projects with objectives, scope, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.
