Yale University in New Haven is seeking an Accounting and Compliance Manager to oversee key accounting functions, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls. You will coordinate journal entries, prepaid expense accounting and amortization, and support monthly and quarterly financial reviews.

This role works with Administration and Finance, mentors staff, and identifies opportunities to improve accounting processes and compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance with four years of related experience.
• Demonstrated application of financial, accounting and economic concepts.
• Experience with GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to mentor and supervise staff.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly journal entries including prepaid expenses and amortization.
• Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate billing for services to internal and external departments.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and compliance.
