Responsibilities

Performs accounting and financial program analysis, including maintenance of accounting records and preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements and reports.
Develops modifications and enhancements of systems to meet local needs.
Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of daily accounting operations and existing procedures.
Provides interpretations of accounting and financial data reflecting the interrelationships between accounting, budgeting, and other management data.
Serves as a functional expert who aligns end-to-end business cycle design with DLA's strategic direction and programs.
Performs ongoing review and analysis of processes, records, reports, and audit results to identify problems affecting accounting and financial operations.
