Qualifications

• Accounting or auditing knowledge with focus on audit readiness.
• Experience applying accounting principles to government or public sector processes.
• Ability to interpret and implement financial management policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides enterprise-wide compliance reviews to ensure compliance with financial management requirements, standards and policies.
• Assists in managing the J8 Financial Risk Management program and performs reviews against laws and DoD/DLA policies.
• Observes E2E business cycle design aligned with DLA's strategic direction and programs.
• Develops agency-wide internal control test plans for auditable financial statements.
• Advises DLA Process Owners on audit-compliant automated and manual controls.
• Delivers complex advisory services on systems accounting functions to management and SMEs.
• Collaborates with other areas to deliver cross-functional E2E solutions.
