Job description

Role: Strategic Account Partner

The Cella Strategic Account Partner role focuses on principles essential to an account’s success, including value creation, expansion, and customer satisfaction. The SAP will play a key role in growth, responsible for rapid expansion within assigned accounts, and ensuring the maturation, health, and expansion of Cella’s service offerings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive C-level relationship-building skills, executive connections, and a focus on financial aspects. They should have outstanding consultative selling skills and a deep understanding of marketing and technology tools, techniques, and solutions.

Note: This is a remote role; candidates must be based in a major metropolitan area in the United States without relocating.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive growth by identifying and leading new, renewed, and expansion opportunities within assigned accounts.
  2. Develop and execute client engagement strategies aligned with service gaps.
  3. Lead accountability for measurable revenue and margin targets.
  4. Develop and implement the account strategy (business plan) with support from Sales, Delivery, SMEs, and Operations to ensure collaboration and accountability.
  5. Establish regular internal milestone/checkpoint meetings to ensure goal alignment.
  6. Identify partnership opportunities and leverage existing client and alliance partnerships to grow the account.
Required Qualifications:
  • Background in Creative, Digital, or Marketing industries or experience selling to these sectors.
  • Several years of experience in a client-facing sales role.
  • Experience selling to strategic accounts.
  • A proven track record of growing accounts.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating in a matrixed environment.
  • In-depth understanding of digital technology related to marketing and creative organizations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage complex assignments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify strategic solutions.
