Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group is seeking an Account Manager to promote parts, service and rental within the branch and respond to customer needs for parts and/or service. You will sell to new and existing customers in a territory to meet revenue targets while building lasting relationships.

Key duties include maintaining customer profiles and preparing reports, staying informed on product lines and market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-development capabilities.
• Solid financial focus including analysis and decision making.
• Ability to assess customer patterns and adjust territory focus.
• Thorough knowledge of systems, procedures, and reports for the location.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience in transportation/logistics, field service, consumer products, or supply chain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts and service to new and/or current customers in a territory to achieve revenue objectives.
• Strengthen relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction with products and services.
• Maintain awareness of new products, services, competitor activities and market data.
• Prepare sales reports, call reports, expense and territory summaries accurately and timely.
• Pursue credit applications prior to each sale or collect payment in advance.
• Assist manager in forecasting sales and setting account targets for parts, service, and rental.
• Enhance professional delivery by increasing product/industry knowledge and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with Doggett employees and departments; perform other duties as assigned.
