Henry Schein Inc is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to enhance customer relationships and drive business growth within the healthcare sector. The role involves managing strategic accounts, leading contract management efforts, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize customer experience. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sales and account management, along with a Bachelor's degree.
The Strategic Account Manager I (“SAM I”) will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships and growing business with Henry Schein’s most strategic high-profile customers. This individual will be responsible for internal and external support on strategy, execution, and results of the assigned strategic accounts. The SAM I will nurture, support and sustain positive and productive long-term relationships to optimize the customer’s return on investment in Henry Schein’s value proposition and vast portfolio of products and services. The SAM I will assist with creation of innovative programs to diversify Henry Schein’s market position and strengthen HSI’s customer partnerships and connectivity. This position will drive products/services expansion across Henry Schein’s distribution business and the entire Henry Schein portfolio, and overall customer experience. The individual will report to the Sr. Manager assigned to a group of accounts. The SAM I will partner closely across the Henry Schein team including the customer delivery team, customer care team, merchandise team, operations team, equipment and service teams, field team, and partners at the individual portfolio companies.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically 30% to 40%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
The posted range for this position is $73,432 - $114,737 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
