Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales targets and increase revenue and pipeline

  • Support customers through product development and production
  • Prioritize opportunities across targeted accounts
  • Identify industry trends and new product opportunities
  • Support NPI activities including target account identification and pricing
  • Coordinate development of new product lines with accounts
  • Develop and execute global strategies for international accounts
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data and forecasts

Strategic Account Manager
Summary

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing sales activities for high-profile Hirose accounts, developing strategic customer relationships, expanding the sales pipeline, and increasing revenue. This role works closely with customers and internal Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to provide appropriate technical solutions, achieve successful design wins, and identify future business opportunities.

Essential Duties
  • Manage and develop strategic and high-profile accounts within the assigned territory
  • Achieve annual sales targets and increase year-over-year revenue and sales pipeline
  • Identify, build, and expand relationships with targeted accounts, key decision-makers, and executive-level contacts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue, profitability, account penetration, and customer satisfaction
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate Hirose products and technical solutions
  • Utilize value-based selling strategies involving technology, risk, service, investment, timing, and pricing to achieve successful design wins
  • Create and deliver customized product presentations and proposals
  • Collaborate with Field Application Engineers, Segment Managers, Product Management, Marketing, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Quality Engineering teams
  • Support customers throughout product development and production and keep customers and internal teams informed of progress
  • Actively manage and prioritize sales opportunities across targeted accounts
  • Identify industry trends, customer needs, and potential new product opportunities
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including target account identification, promotion schedules, samples, and pricing
  • Coordinate the development of potential new product lines with key accounts and prospective customers
  • Develop and execute global strategies for international accounts
  • Maintain accurate customer meeting, project, and opportunity information in Salesforce CRM
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts, reports, and presentations within required deadlines
  • Participate in trade shows, customer meetings, industry groups, and company events as required
Working Hours / Working Style

Full-time / Hybrid
This position requires regular reporting to the Andover office.

$110K–120K / year
