Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking an Account Manager to be the primary contact for assigned accounts, build strong relationships with customers, and identify new business opportunities within the current base.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree or degree with equivalent relevant work experience, preferred
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customer accounts

Responsibilities

• Process timely and accurate orders in accordance with customer needs
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Develop trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
• Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
• Coordinate with management to assure optimum lead-time and inventory levels
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Advise management of challenging customer requests and escape issues as needed
• Other related duties as assigned
