As a strategic account manager, you’ll oversee the profit and loss (P&L) of your portfolio of accounts. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally, representing all our business lines and products. You’ll develop and negotiate contracts, learn product structure, and identify and apply revenue and profit levers. Additionally, you’ll build and maintain strong relationships with each account.

This is a remote position with occasional travel based on business needs.

Must-have Qualifications

  • A minimum of eleven years outside business-to-business sales or property casualty insurance experience
  • (OR) Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of eight years outside business-to-business sales or property casualty insurance experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong understanding of insurance and insurance products including auto, home, recreational lines, and commercial lines
  • Strategic thinking ability to analyze, develop, and manage strategies to penetrate accounts and markets as well as competitor markets and positions
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills; effectively uses tools, data, reporting, and available systems
  • Strong influencing/persuasion/negotiation skills; ability to gain support and commitment from others internally and externally; advanced relationship and sales experience managing strategic distribution partners, carrier relationships, or affiliate relationships
  • Experience managing material Profit & Loss (P&Ls), large budgets, and teams that execute on Underwriting (UW) licensing, contracts, commissions, growth, and profitability

Compensation

  • $112,300 - $179,600/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
  • Participation in our restricted stock unit plan
