Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, recycling, or related industries.

  • Monitor market trends, recycling initiatives, sustainability practices, and regulatory developments.
  • Travel as needed to meet with customers and support business development activities.

Position Summary

Amos Mfg. is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective customers while driving long‑term business growth. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their operational challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending equipment and system solutions that support material recovery and landfill diversion goals.

The ideal candidate is a relationship‑focused professional with strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts and prospective customers
  • Engage customers through phone calls, email, social media, virtual meetings, and in‑person visits
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, pain points, and operational objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop long‑term account growth strategies
  • Prepare and present customized proposals that demonstrate economic and environmental benefits
  • Collaborate with engineering, product development, and field service teams to recommend customer‑specific solutions

  • Support contract discussions, project coordination, and customer follow‑up activities
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and implementation process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
