Job summary

PEI-Genesis is seeking an Experienced Sales and Marketing Representative to establish and grow new customers in the PEI-Genesis Chicago region, Rolling Meadows, IL. You will nurture relationships and drive revenue by expanding account penetration and managing budgets.

You will coordinate with Branch Manager and Product Management, use NetSuite CRM, and leverage ERP/CRM knowledge to meet quarterly and annual sales goals while staying compliant with customer terms and PEI processes.

Qualifications

• Degree from a four-year college or university preferred; or minimum of three years sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Successful completion of the PEI-Genesis sales training program is required
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office, specifically EXCEL, WORD and OUTLOOK
• Experience with an ERP system (such as ASW400) as well as a CRM system, preferably NetSuite

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop new relationships for the company in a defined geographic market or industry utilizing cold calling, sales lead follow-up, sample follow-up
• Maintain and enhance new and existing customer relationships to increase the amount of business and the diversity of product that PEI-Genesis does with these customers by pursuing possibilities and opportunities beyond those initiated by the customer
• Understands all pertinent government regulations and customer terms and conditions and how they relate to PEI-Genesis processes and capabilities
• Monitor and maintain price, delivery, quality and special handling requirements with customers and ensure timely fulfillment
• Coordinates large customer bids, quotes, orders or opportunities with Branch Manager and Product Management Team via team-sell calls
• Utilize NetSuite CRM to assess account performance and sales budget progress; develop and execute action plan with Branch Manager if not on pace
• Grow and maintain relationships with Top customers to drive sales growth
