Job summary

Miami University Alumni Association seeks an Assistant or Senior Assistant Director for Academic Recruitment and Outreach. The role partners with the Office of Admission and academic divisions to attract, engage, and enroll students in targeted programs.

The position supports strategic outreach, events, and storytelling to strengthen enrollment for designated colleges. The role requires collaboration with faculty and staff, travel within the region, and a commitment to the university’s values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; at least 2 years of experience in progressively responsible admission positions or a Master’s Degree
• Senior Assistant Director: Bachelor’s degree; at least 3 years of experience in progressively responsible admission positions or a Master’s Degree and one year of experience

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and collaboration across divisions to improve student and family experiences in the admission process
• Develop data-driven recruitment and yield plans for assigned academic divisions
• Organize and manage recruitment events, campus visits, and outreach programming
• Represent Miami University and assigned divisions at events and campaigns
• Monitor and evaluate recruitment strategies using real-time data and trends
