Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of labor / employment law and the principles and techniques of labor negotiations.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational policies and procedures in Academic Personnel.
• Demonstrates the ability to bargain and represent the university's interests effectively.
• Excellent judgment in responding to employee and labor relations requests.
• Experience guiding managers and employees on complex labor relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and recommendations to academic leadership on strategic decision-making.
• Lead labor and employee relations projects and collaborate with campus stakeholders.
• Prepare written responses and recommendations; respond to grievances and investigations.
• Present the University’s position at grievance and arbitration hearings when needed.
