Job summary

The Town of Fort Myers Beach is seeking a Code Compliance Officer specializing in Short-Term Rentals (STR). This essential role involves conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with STR regulations, and engaging with the community to promote responsible STR operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in code compliance or a related field preferred.
• State of Florida Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and investigate complaints regarding STRs.
• Document violations and prepare enforcement cases.
• Communicate with property managers and residents regarding compliance.
