Job summary

Town of Fort Myers Beach seeks an Emergency Services Manager to lead Code Compliance, Beach Ranger, and parking operations under the Emergency Services Director. This role supervises staff, manages budgets, and ensures safety, cleanliness, and quality of life for residents and visitors.

The candidate will support emergency preparedness, response, and post-disaster recovery efforts, while coordinating with Town departments and local agencies to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Planning, or related field.
• Minimum five years in municipal code enforcement/public safety with at least three years in supervision.
• FACE certification or ability to obtain; CEP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional management and coordination for Code Compliance, Beach Ranger, and municipal parking operations.
• Supervise personnel, manage budgets, and coordinate with the Emergency Services Director.
• Support emergency preparedness, response, and post-disaster recovery efforts in coordination with partners.
