Job summary

The Town of Fort Myers Beach is seeking an energetic Emergency Services Manager to oversee Code Compliance, Emergency Services Ranger Division, and municipal parking operations. You will lead a high‑performing team, drive operational excellence, and support emergency preparedness and post‑disaster recovery with the Emergency Services Director.

Reporting to the Emergency Services Director, the role emphasizes safety, quality of life, and service‑oriented enforcement in a fast‑paced municipal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Planning, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in municipal code enforcement, public safety, emergency services, or related field, including at least three (3) years of direct supervisory or management experience.
• Experience supervising public-facing field personnel, enforcement operations, or municipal service programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily management, supervision, and operational direction for code enforcement and emergency services divisions.
• Coordinate and prioritize work efficiently, ensuring timely response to complaints, inspections, patrols, and events.
• Develop policies, procedures, and training plans to improve consistency and compliance.
