Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for its Northeast Division, focusing on stormwater infrastructure and water resources. The role involves technical leadership, design oversight, client management, and cross‑functional collaboration across civil projects.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, 8+ years in stormwater/water resources, and MA PE or reciprocity. Hybrid/office/remote options available with travel to local sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years in stormwater and water resources with design and project management.
• Massachusetts PE registration or reciprocity able is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for municipal and private stormwater projects.
• Handle design, scheduling, budgeting, and client management for projects.
• Supervise staff and mentor junior team members on complex projects.
• Assist with training, technical development, and staff mentoring.
• Support strategic planning, proposals, and business development efforts.
• Coordinate with regulators and ensure compliance with firm standards.
• Present project updates at client meetings and public meetings.
