Position:

Utility Construction Foreman (Stormwater)

Industry:

Operational Services Stormwater

Schedule:

Full-Time, 40-55 hours per week (Monday - Friday, overtime opportunities)

Travel:

Required (typically 85% per month). Lodging expenses covered, $68 per diem, and company vehicle provided for travel.

What you'll do:
  • Construct and repair critical stormwater infrastructure, including underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins across the central states, ensuring community safety and resilience.
  • Operate advanced construction equipment, from handheld and power tools to heavy machinery like skid loaders, excavators, and dozers, demonstrating your technical expertise.
  • Travel and explore new locations while making a significant impact on various projects.
  • Innovate and learn by mastering pioneering construction techniques and regulatory compliance strategies, positioning yourself as an industry leader.
  • Contribute to project success by documenting field observations to aid in project delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize safety by upholding the highest standards on every project, safeguarding yourself and your team.
What we're looking for:
  • 3-4 years of construction experience, preferably in stormwater infrastructure, underground utilities, concrete repair, or erosion control.
  • Experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar, concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and staff.
  • Willingness to travel (85% of the time).
  • Physically able to perform manual labor, lift 60 lbs, and work in confined spaces and various weather conditions.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and DOT requirements for pickups and trailers.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • GED or High School Diploma.
