Job summary

The City of Greer is accepting applications for a Stormwater Technician II in the Public Services Department. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining stormwater systems, repairing catch basins, and operating a range of equipment.

Requirements include a High school diploma or GED, two years in stormwater or related field, and a Class B CDL or ability to obtain within one year. Benefits are included and the department values safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in stormwater or related field preferred.
• Class B CDL or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• First aid/CPR, Traffic Control, and Pipe Installation trainings are required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain stormwater systems city-wide.
• Build and repair catch basins; install storm pipes and inspect systems.
• Operate light/heavy equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Set up trenching, shoring, and grading; ensure proper elevations.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate with supervisors and public.
