Job summary

The City of Greer is seeking a Public Services Worker I for the Public Services Department to perform various street maintenance duties, including grass cutting, storm drainage maintenance, and repair of streets and sidewalks.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid state driver’s license, and be able to perform physical tasks efficiently. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform street maintenance duties such as cutting grass and trimming trees.
• Participate in the construction, maintenance and repair of streets and drainage.
• Cleans streets by picking up trash and debris.
