Job summary

Lorain County Commissioners is seeking a qualified professional to assist the Storm Water Management District within the Community Development Department. You will help plan and manage stormwater initiatives, coordinate district expenses, and liaise on behalf of the District to ensure compliance with federal and county regulations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and several years of environmental planning experience, plus possession of a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental management/urban planning.
• Valid State of Ohio driver’s license requirement.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations related to storm water management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Development Director with all matters relating to Storm Water Management District and planning.
• Maintain related to District expenses.
• Serve as liaison on behalf of District.
