Job summary

The incumbent will develop and implement the county's stormwater programs, manage grants, and provide technical guidance to other departments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum four (4) years in stormwater and drainage engineering; supervisory experience required.
• Skills: Coordination of stormwater issues and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision of engineering activities including planning, design, surveying, construction and testing of drainage facilities.
• Design and implement projects to correct major stormwater problems and flooding on county roads.
• Develop and manage NPDES permit programs and related stormwater initiatives.
• Address citizens' drainage complaints and plan programs to track complaint status.
