Job summary

AQUALIS is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Principal Engineer on water management projects in Orlando. You will manage project tasks, coordinate staff and client communications, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

You will develop project scopes, estimate hours, track milestones, and maintain change logs. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, SLAMM/Recarga, and hydraulic/hydrologic software is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong communication and client liaison skills.
• Ability to estimate hours and write project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Principal Engineer on project development, identify tasks and estimate hours; write detailed project scopes for proposals.
• Manage project tasks, the project team, and ensure effective communication with clients and staff.
• Provide project updates internally and to clients; maintain project budget and monthly invoicing.
• Set milestone dates for tasks that meet scope deadlines and track progress.
• Maintain change and issue logs and document project changes.
• Play the role of Checker as part of the Qualify Control Program.
